Exercising in Hot Tub


Water from the spa jets provides a gentle invigorating massage to joints and muscles. The pulsating action of the jets kneads out the muscle knots and relieves spasms. The increased blood flow and elasticity of the muscle tissue allows for greater flexibility and a wider range of motion. A spa is the perfect compliment to your fitness regime. If you want to be more fit and healthy, then a hot tub can play a part in you pre, during and post exercise routine.

A hot tub can be used before exercise to get your muscles warmed up, helping to prevent muscle injury. A hot tub helps get your blood circulating, preparing you for your workout routine.

During 
If flexibility and conditioning is part of your training, then keep it fresh by doing a workout in your spa. The heat of the water warms your muscles and helps with stretching and flexibility. The buoyancy of the water takes pressure off joints and bones. You can also benefit from the resistance the water provides when doing leg lifts or other water exercises.

Post Workout
Relax and soothe your muscles in a cool down in the spa.  The warmth of the water along with the massage jets can soothe aching muscles as well as muscle pain or spasms.  Always be sure to drink plenty of water throughout your workout and consult your doctor before starting any exercise program.
